# Privacy Policy

How FixFix Labs collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

## 1\. Information We Collect

-   **Account info** — name, email, phone number when you register or book as a guest.
-   **Device info** — device type, brand, model, and issue descriptions you provide during diagnosis.
-   **Repair history** — booking references, quotes, status updates, and technician notes.
-   **Usage data** — pages visited, browser type, and general analytics (no personal content).

## 2\. How We Use Your Data

-   Processing and fulfilling your repair orders.
-   Sending booking confirmations, quotes, and status updates via email.
-   Improving our diagnosis AI and service quality (aggregated, anonymised data only).
-   Responding to support requests.

## 3\. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers. We use TLS 1.3 for data in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Access is restricted to authorised team members. See our [Data Safety](/data-safety) page for device-specific data handling.

## 4\. Cookies & Analytics Consent

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are **off by default**. They only run if you accept the cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2 — if you reject, GA pings are sent in cookieless mode (no client identifier stored).

## 5\. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:

-   Payment processors to complete transactions.
-   Courier partners for device pickup/delivery (name, address, phone only).
-   Law enforcement when legally required.

-   **Access** — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
-   **Correction** — ask us to update inaccurate information.
-   **Deletion** — request deletion of your account and associated data.
-   **Portability** — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

## 7\. Data Retention

We retain repair records for 24 months after the last interaction. Account data is retained until you request deletion. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification.
