How we protect your personal data during every repair.
Our Commitment
We understand your devices contain personal and sensitive information. FixFix Labs follows strict protocols to ensure your data remains private and secure throughout the repair process.
During Repair
- Technicians only access device functions necessary to diagnose and verify the repair.
- We never browse personal files, photos, messages, or accounts.
- All repairs are performed in a monitored environment with access-controlled workstations.
Data Handling
- No data copying — we do not copy, transfer, or back up your personal data unless you explicitly request it.
- Password lock — we recommend locking your device before handoff. If unlocking is required for testing, we'll ask for a temporary passcode and advise you to change it after.
- Factory reset — if your repair requires a factory reset, we'll inform you beforehand and obtain consent.
After Repair
Any temporary passcodes or diagnostic data collected during repair are purged within 48 hours of device return. We do not retain any personal content from your device.
Encryption & Security
All customer information stored in our systems (booking details, contact info, repair history) is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access is limited to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.
